PRESS RELEASES “SPARE CHANGE” CASHES IN ON ANOTHER FIRST NIGHT FULLERTON PERFORMANCE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 3, 2007 (Fullerton, CA) – The band Spare Change announces their return to the First Night Fullerton celebration as one of the performing acts. The band's performances will take place on December 31st in the multipurpose room of Wilshire Avenue Community Church at 212 E. Wilshire Ave. (Wilshire and Pomona) in downtown Fullerton, conveniently near the city’ s Plaza and the Fullerton Museum. Entrance to the venue is on Pomona. Shows begin at 8:00 pm, 9:30 pm, and 11:00 pm. A different set will be featured for each performance. Spare Change offers a wide variety of music, featuring great classic and modern rock from the last 50 years. The band also performs at other events throughout the year including the annual 4th of July celebration that is open to the community, and band members also perform as part of various music worship teams at the church. The current lineup of Spare Change includes a student, a preschool teacher, a resident dean at Biola University, a foreman for Habitat for Humanity, an environmental engineer, an x– ray technician and the church's own Lead Pastor. “Playing with this band over the years has been such fun,” says Kirk Mackie, Lead Pastor at Wilshire Avenue Community Church. “We are all good friends and the God-given talents are just amazing! It’ s great to see the various gifts and talents touch a lot of lives when we play.”
