shows that inspired her to become part of the business with a panel on
"Animation from Concept to Production" at JemCon 2008!
JemCon 2008, celebrating the '80s animated series JEM, runs from
September 27th-28th at the AirTel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys, CA.
Shannon's panel is scheduled for Sunday at 11AM, but don't miss all the
great industry guests on both days of this convention! On-site

is that I’ll be talking about animation writing and production, the
topics discussed in my book GARDNER’S GUIDE TO WRITING AND PRODUCING
ANIMATION, along with fellow animation writer and also animation

SHANNON MUIR ON PANEL FOR PACIFIC MEDIA EXPO ON NOVEMBER 10, 2007!: Sorry
for the short notice, but I just got word that I will have a 60 minute
programming slot at Pacific Media Expo, November 9-11 at the LAX
Hilton. My panel's currently slated to be from noon to 1 that Saturday,
focusing on Producing ADR vs. Original Animation in Pacific Ballroom B.
Be sure to doublecheck the schedule for any last minute changes. This
should be a great forum to compare producing American animation to
bringing Japanese animation over here to the West. More info about the

meeting of Creative Words to Spread the Word, the writing ministry at
Wilshire Avenue Community Church in Fullerton, California. With her
will be Kevin Paul Shaw Broden, who did all of the interior art for the
